A message from Westchester to Shoham

For the past 6 years, 7th and 8th graders from the Rosenthal JCC and the Hamesh Center in Shoham have participated in a one of a kind exchange program- Global Jewish Connections. They have experienced each others’ culture and country by learning with and from each other and truly connecting by visiting and living with each others’ community.

Unfortunately, this year the American trip to Israel was affected by the violence in Gaza, and just before the summer a tough decision was made to postpone the trip. But… postponing means rescheduling to December. And until then, we are still keeping our connections with , and support of Israel strong with holiday wishes and rubber chickens (his name is Schnitzel)

Shanna Tova to everyone in Shoham, from everyone here in Westchester!
